Delicious "Tembleque"

4 cups of water
4 cups of milk
2 cans of coconut cream
1 can of coconut milk
2 1/2 cups of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional)
Lime peel
2 cinnamon sticks
1 1/2 cups of cornstarch
1 1/2 cups of water
Powdered cinnamon
In a large pot, combine all ingredients over high heat, stirring until it boils. In a separate container, mix 1 1/2 cups of cornstarch and 1 1/2 cups of water and stir to dissolve the cornstarch completely. When the ingredients begin to boil, reduce heat to medium and pour in the cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and stir about 2 more minutes. Pour into large or small containers and let cool about 10 minutes. Then cover and store in refrigerator. To serve, sprinkle on cinnamon and it's ready. Bon Appetite!
